Had a blast co-writing and co-producing this album. Great musicians and great times. Somewhat ironically, several years before working on this record, I was the opening act for ‘The Average White Band’ at the Santa Monica Civic auditorium and thought they were the funkiest band around, so working with Alan, an original member, was too cool. Kenny MacPherson, now head of Chrysalis Music, was Alan’s manager at the time and kept me in stitches. If you want to laugh a lot and enjoy life, work with a Scotsman……or two.
