I was totally shocked today to hear about Cory Wells passing.
He was a singing mentor of mine and a gentle good man.
I worked with him for almost a year in Three Dog Night and he was ever gracious and sharing with his wealth of singing and performing chops.
After not seeing him for 20+ years, we had a great conversation earlier this year and caught up and reminisced–and as I’ve experienced with all good folk, it was as if no time had passed.
What a voice!
